KISIPs intervention a major attraction as delegates throng State Department for Housing and Urban Development booth to learn more Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, August 17, 2023 KISIPs interventions in the counties was one of the major areas of interests for the delegates attending the ongoing Devolution Conference in Uasin Gishu County. The conference, whose theme this year is; 10 Years of Devolution: The Present and The Future; has been organized by the Council of Governors (CoG).

It has been a beehive of activities at the booth belonging to the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, with delegates drawn from the National Government, County Governments, Development partners, international dignities, Non-Governmental Organizations, private sectors among other partners, visiting to learn more about KISIP2.

The delegates were given an opportunity and interacted freely with KISIPs project brochures. The Housing Department through various programmes and projects such as KISIP, has partnered with counties in the past and lined major transformations of informal settlements in the counties. The conference brings together more than 10,000 delegates drawn from 47 counties and officials from National Government and international dignitaries. The three-day event aims to review the country's progress after 10 years of devolution.
